About the Job
Responsibilities:
- Under direct supervision, coordinates the workforce, physical plant, inventory and requirement activities.
- Entry level Plant Supervisor overseeing inmate laborers in the performance of manufacturing duties.
- Assist more senior supervisors in manufacturing and related responsibilities and develop skills in training inmates, developing executing safety procedures, and ensuring quality control and efficient manufacturing procedures are followed.
- May routine maintenance of production equipment.
Minimum Qualification: High school diploma or GED
Preferred Qualification:
- Technical experience in textile manufacturing within knitting or hosiery production environment.
- Knowledge of or exposure to circular knitting machines and related manufacturing processes.
This position can be filled as a Plant Supervisor 2 based on applicant experience.
